Studio23Labs commits to one free project per quarter for a non-profit. Abdi spent six years with 180 Mosquito Squadron and it's where he built the foundation for the skills he uses today. The goal was a clean, informative website paired with a donation flow designed to actually convert.
Website Redesign
The squadron's previous web presence didn't reflect the quality of the program behind it. We built a clean, modern site that communicates the full value of the cadet experience aviation training, leadership development, competitive teams, and travel opportunities in a way that speaks to both recruits and parents. The site includes a live recruitment intake section, event calendar, and absence reporting for current cadets.
Donation Retention
A good cause alone doesn't drive donations the flow has to be frictionless. We designed and built a donation pipeline that reduces drop-off at every step: clear context on where funds go, minimal form fields, and a mobile-optimized checkout. The goal was to convert first-time visitors into recurring supporters for the program.
